Embracing the Straight Brow

Instead for wishing you a certain type of brow when the truth is you have a straight brow, make the most of what you were given!

The Straight Brow: A Brow-Furrowing Issue

It is not unnatural that most of us who are born with the straight brow try to transform it into something different. After all, society seems to associate beauty with the arched brow and so why would any woman want to have a straight brow? The truth is that what we are born with is highly likely what was meant for us and our facial features. Trying to get something different may just mess things worse than they already are. This is exactly the same way girls buy fake eye lashes to add onto their own short ones because society has associated beauty with long lashes. Truth is sometimes it just doesn’t work.

How to Embrace Your Brows

It is time to embrace whatever brow the Good Lord gave to you, straight brow or otherwise. All brow types can be groomed and made to look amazing. Those with the arch in their brow can follow Lauren’s tutorial called brow 101 to get them look finer than veer. For the straight brow owners here are a few tips to look awesome. You can use the Brow Styler Diorshow to draw individual brow hairs. The Styler goes for just $28 and does a great job too. Somme girls love the heavily shaded type of brow and for this I recommend the brow pen from Anastasia which goes for $21. It is felt-tipped and will give just the desired look. Brow Fantasy from Revlon; pencil and gel which goes for just $7.39 is the best if you want to tint the brow hair or pencil them up.

Choosing the Right Mascara

Taming the eye brows requires a little mascara. Clear mascara is perfect for this and I recommend Great Lash from the Maybelline line of products. It goes for just $4.63. Sometimes you just want to do a sort of rash groom before leaving the house so that they look good but still stay natural. The eyebrow and eye lash wand called e.l.f which goes for $1.49 will do the job perfectly. The wands do a better job than brushes or combs ladies! There are women who just cannot do the natural look though. They are not left out. They can take advantage of the ingenious invention of Tom Ford who invented the Brow Sculptor. This piece of equipment goes for $42 but it is well worth the price. The pencil’s edge can be used to shade the brow, its point can be used for drawing the hairs individually and it has a wand hidden in it for grooming. There is also a sharpener built in so that you can strike against it to get the slanted edge. You have to hand it to Mr. Ford for saving women folk the trouble of buying a thousand tools. Our eye brows are person specific and each woman is created beautifully with their own. Instead for wishing you a certain type of brow when the truth is you have the opposite, make the most of what you were given and you just might be surprised at how many compliments you get.
